Increased Reassurance Patrols Around Local Schools

Today, the Fortis Green Safer Neighbourhood Team began an earlier shift to support increased reassurance patrols around local schools. By starting ahead of our usual time, officers were able to be visible during the busy morning period, helping to provide reassurance to students, parents, and school staff.

On our way into the Fortis Green ward, we also took the opportunity to engage with families and children in neighbouring wards. These informal conversations allow us to listen to community concerns, build trust, and ensure residents feel supported by their local policing teams.

The team will continue to deliver high-visibility patrols throughout the week, working closely with schools and the community to help keep everyone safe.
